Abstract
The article analyzes the right to asylum of homosexual individuals according to the Directive 2004/83/EC, the Geneva Convention on the status of refugees and the fundamental rights protected by the ECHR and the Charter of fundamental rights of the European Union, in particular the right to respect of private and family life and the prohibition of discrimination.
