Abstract
This article examines the European Court of Human Rights judgement "Satakunnan Markkinapörssi Oy and Satamedia Oy v. Finland". The Grand Chamber stated that the prohibition imposed on two Finnish media companies to publish taxation data of about 1.2 million taxpayers did not violate Article 10 ECHR, since the limitations have been provided for by law, pursued a legitimate and were necessary in a democratic society.
