Abstract
The aim of the naturalistic approach is to look for the bodily components related to the faculty of language, and avoiding to flatten the linguistic models on the biological level. In this kind of enquiry, whose goal is to investigate the biological basis and the evolutionary origins of the Faculty of Language, it is useful to bear in mind two Problems ("The Mapping Problem and The Biological Character Problem") and two Paradoxes ("The Paradox of Continuity and The Sapient Paradox") which may represent the boundary conditions of a Naturalistic Perspective.
