Abstract
The text is part of the Studi Culturali’s section Con/Testo, hosting an interaction between the writer and photographer Roberto Cotroneo and the museum scholar Chiara Tartarini. In this text the auhor presents an artistic account revealing the intellectual roots and aestetich reflections supporting his photographic work titled Genius Loci (2017), related to an exploration of the role of audiences in museums’s exhibitions and to how spectators can be artistically represented by photographic practices. As introduced by Tartarini in her accompaining article in this Con/Testo section, the text represents an articulated artist’s perspective on the meanings, reppresentations and contradictions zrelated to the interactive relationship between spectators and museum spaces
