Abstract
The article summarises the theses presented by Alexander Bard and Jan Söderqvist in the volume Netocracy, published in several countries, and more recently in France. Faced with the growth of digital society, the two Swedish authors analyse the ongoing change: the move, using their terms, from "capitalism" to "informationalism". This means that capitalism, as we have known it until now, has completed its course and today the problem is how to get used to the new paradigm. A new élite, the Netocrats, is advancing, and selective networks are emerging.
