Abstract

Maps show more than the spoken word. Based on the elaborate graphs of an article published in the Italian daily newspaper, «Il Corriere della sera», the author shows how the area called Europe today is located between a space that is vanishing and the increasingly complex and ambiguous diagrams that try to represent it.
