The conversation starts with the correspondence between Enzo Rutigliano and famous author Elias Canetti, on his volume Masses and Power which has been long considered a classic of sociology. The conversation focuses on the need of a «critical sociology» and on the relationship between masses and collective movements and, finally, on the war.
