Abstract

Assessing climate change costs is complex, because we have to figure out what our future societies will be like. This requires a considerable imaginative effort. However, we do have tools and resources that allow us to make sound estimates. In the case of our Country, all the available scientific evidence points out that costs could be high unless policy makers and stakeholders start implementing adequate adaptation and mitigation policies.
