Abstract
The energy transition and decarbonization redraw the geography of the world’s balance of power. New actors come into play, such as the countries that own the natural resources (lithium, cobalt, rare earths...) required for the vectors and infrastructures. The radical transformation of our manufacturing process on a global scale will involve costs and conflicts. Political staff and diplomatic actions to match the transformation will be needed.
