Humanitarian assemblages in Naples. How humanitarian space is absorbing urban leftover
Abstract
A new frictional zone is emerging between the City and the Camp. That’s where the City is blurring into a camp-like city and the Camp, in turn, is transforming into an urbanizing device. It is necessary to acknowledge this transformation due to economic and cultural phenomena in order to plan, promote and implement equitable urban interventions and avoid favouring exploitation.
