Abstract
«Lo Stato» is traditionally considered the journal of the Fascist legal orthodoxy. In its almost fifteen years of publication, particular attention was devoted to the concept of «Europe». An idea emerges linked to the anti-liberal rhetoric of the time, in which the international image of the Society of Nations is depicted as the world legal order to be demolished and replaced with a new institutional order, represented by Fascism and its ideology as the only prospect for bringing the Old Continent out of the deep crisis of identity and culture to which it has fallen.
