Abstract
This essay aims to reconstruct the intense attention given to cinema by Italian institutions after World War II, retracing the legislative stages that had the greatest impact on production dynamics and that led Italian cinema to its rebirth. It also analyes the difficult path that led to the abolition of fascist laws and accompanied the Italian legal system to an organic legislative reorganization of the cinematographic sector
