Abstract
«Storia & Diplomazia» has recently published the inventory of the Italian Embassy in Washington (1910-1925). From the historical usage point of view, we face with a very articulate and rich archive. Indeed, it collects documents about Italian immigration to the US, the cultural diplomacy developed between Rome and Washington, and the American press’ perceptions of fascism. This work aims to analyze this tool by underlining its features, potentiality, and criticism
