Abstract
The paper analyses the political and literary activity of Giulio Rezasco through the study of the unpublished archival and book sources kept in the donation of Mario Grossi in the City of Bolano. After explaining the reasons for the presence of this group of documents and books in Bolano (in the Province of La Spezia), the author analyses the various types of papers and publications, highlighting the epistolary network activated by Rezasco during the years of the risings in Lunigiana and his relentless political activity pro-Savoy. The author examines the drafts of letters, the transcriptions of classical Latin authors, the collections of terms and literary references, as well as the owned books (nucleus of specialized vocabularies) showing the preparatory work for the drafting of Rezasco "Dictionary of the Italian political and administrative language" published in 1881 by Le Monnier. Finally, the author examines the friendship between Federico Grossi and Giulio Rezasco and their diplomatic activity aimed at submitting to the Subalpine Parliament, through the deputy Domenico Buffa, the political question of historical Lunigiana.
