Abstract

The article examines how Italian Archives have been regulated by the 2014 Reform of Cultural Property, namely within the new organizational framework of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage. The analysis deals with the history of States' Archives regulation, focusing on the changes introduced by the 2014 Reform and its implementation and developments. After years of spending review, Italian State is providing archives with more financial resources in order to enhance their activities. The implementation process of the reform, however, remains long and complex.
