Abstract

The use of archives by the general public has undoubtedly changed. Archivists have now developed various initiatives to meet the demands of people from different paths of life. Promoting archives is as essential as preserving and caring for them. therefore, in some cases, it is relevant to liaise with people involved in Public History. nevertheless, it would be fatal for the profession of archivists to interrupt the dialogue with historians of institutions and historians in general.
