Abstract

In the aftermath of WWII, great attention was paid to the recovery of the archives produced both by the fascist regime and the resistance movements, whose dispersion was feared. These documents were given an identity and ideological value, as well as an historical-cultural one. Emilio Re was one of the major protagonists of this particular moment in Italian archives history.
