Abstract
Recent years have focused awareness on some largely underestimated processes of global-scale change, of which Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is the last and most striking example. We asked five distinguished historians of international relations whether such evidence should lead to our revising the paradigm of the Cold War, especially concerning the chronology and circumstances of its last phase, on which a large part of the historiography of recent years has relied.
