Abstract

"Inventing the AIDS Virus" of Peter Duesberg is a criticism of contemporary virology and in general of contemporary organization of scientific research. However, this criticism is very different from philosophical criticism, which points out the relationship between science and modern industrial society. The concept of scientific revolution is used to explain this difference.
