Abstract
Starting from the recent scientists' demonstrations and from the protest documents which they made public, the author discusses both the freedom of scientific research and its moral limits. In the second place he distinguishes the constraints on the research which depend on the scarcity of the resources from those imposed in the name of moral, religious and philosophical beliefs.
