Abstract
Habermas' position towards contemporary genetics, as presented in his recent book "Die Zukunft der menschlichen Natur. Auf dem Weg zu einer liberalen Eugenik?" will be confronted both with his philosophy and with the relevant legislation of industrial countries, in particular that of Germany.
