Abstract

Many Italians proved very skillful in the art of making Fascism disappear from their personal stories. Italian intellectuals did not behave differently from their compatriots and applied the same art to national history. What is discussed here is the so-called "Nicodemism" of the intellectuals, that is the thesis of the presence, within universitarian fascist organizations, of anti-fascists disguised as fascists.
