Abstract
In this article, the author first maps the concept of intersectionality and retraces the main points of her critical approach to the concept of intersectionality. The author then focuses on Françoise Ega’s experience in her book Lettres à une Noire (1978) by presenting, with a phenomenological approach, how intersectionality could be «inoperative» when it deals with the lived experience of domination.
