Abstract
The aim of this note is to point out the theoretical and political criticalities of the Agambenian concepts of «inoperosity» and «destitutive power». Firstly, we will show the aporias of the Agambenian reading of the power/act passage in Aristotle and Dante. Secondly, to Agamben’s destitutive ontology we will oppose an ontological model that in our view is more capable of unlocking the problems of capitalistic reality: Lukács’ ontology of social being
