Abstract

In replying to criticism and questions coming from historians of english-speaking school, the author reaffirms his notion of "Begriff", the difference between concepts and ideas, the difference between synchronic and diachronic analysis in the study of political language, the importance of time structures, of historical changes and of social situations in determining the "Lexikon" and the concepts it contains, the reason of an alphabetical ordering of concepts, the question of the "Sattelzeit".
