Abstract
The author resumes, softens and partly rectifies his previous statements on the notion of responsibility. The question about responsibility can be divided in various subquestions: who, of what, in the name of what, towards whom is an agent responsibile? The author refuses all immobilizing, essentialist notion of responsibility that conceives the action as untouchable in that is accomplished and the agent as a mere driving belt of orders. He sees in decision, rather than in intention, the first and basic moment of action and the source of responsibility: the agent must answer for his/her decision and bears responsibility for its consequences.
