Abstract
Philosophic hermeneutics gave a fundamental contribution to the so called "rehabilitation of practical philosophy" and to the rebirth of the interest in ethical and political thought of Aristotle. Examining the roots of the theory of hermeneutical experience outlined in "Truth and Method", the borders and the limited context in which Gadamer claims Aristotle's topicality - in order to explain the programmatic ideas of neoaristotelism and to criticize the rediscovering of hermeneutic of practical philosophy - are highlighted.
