Abstract
Concerning the relationship between political rationality and evil, the Author considers political socratism as an extension of the theme of "soul care" beyond individual sphere. So he analyzes Ricoeur's reform of hermeneutics by means of epistemology. From this point view he considers the problem of the relationship between Heidegger's ontology and Gadamer's hermeneutics. The author suggests a hermeneutical reading of Rawls and an overcoming through Arendt's philosophy, based upon a project of philosophical antropology, that marks the transition from 'justice' to 'fair'. Finally, the Author presents an ethics of democracy as necessary complement of a teleological and deontological view of justice.
