Abstract
The author analyses the problem of individuality in Marx and Engels' "German Ideology". The aim of the essay is to understand how these thinkers developed the radical criticism of modern individualism and how, according the perspective of Marx, the individuals build "real community" ("wirkliche Gemeinschaft") through their reciprocal cooperation.
