Abstract

In the last years Italian philosophy, particularly political philosophy, met a growing International success. This, however, is characterized by a radical theoretical crisis, which tends to neutralize the practical impact of theory, its capacity of influencing the ongoing historical processes. The reasons of this setback, that could even change the idea of political philosophy, are described by the Author through a critical analysis of the theoretical proposals of Roberto Esposito, Paolo Virno and Giorgio Agamben.
