Abstract
This paper presents a philosophical path focused on three authors (Freud, Heidegger, and Blanchot) and aimed at highlighting the progressive exhaustion of the category of heroism in parallel with the gradual definition of a category of "everyday life" (with its impersonal specificity). This paradigmatic passage opens to a different perspective on the meaning of ordinary life for the man in the street whilst deconstructing the classic view of an exceptional individual within the paradigm of the person. The study tries to define conceptually a category usually elusive to traditional philosophical research at the same time emphasizing its potentialities and contradictions.
