Abstract

The article is focused on the interpretation of Hegel according to Axel Honneth's latest book. Starting from an analysis of the idea of «ethical life», the Authors tries to define social pathologies of individual freedom in modern societies and the relationship between «democratic ethical life» and «anomie», with special reference to the thought of Emile Durkheim.
