Abstract
This article primarily focuses on the Ernst Bloch's notion of contemporaneity of the non-contemporaneous in a confrontation with Reinhart Koselleck's general theory of history. At a later stage, the notion of "multiversum" is introduced to complicate and to enrich the dialectic between contemporaneity and non-contemporaneity.
