Abstract
The intellectual moment following the French Revolution marks an important shift in the conceptualization of politics. From the individual to society; from free will to authority; from an ontology of reflexivity to an ontology of relation. The article discusses a recent book by Frédéric Brahami ("La raison du peuple", 2016) concerning the sociological transition that invests and renovates political philosophy.
