Abstract

This is the second part of a paper, the first part of which was published in «Lingua e Stile», L, 2015, pp. 63-90. The author examines a cluster of related intellectual words and their meanings in the three editions of "Scienza nuova" (1725, 1730, 1744) by Giambattista Vico. The main terms analysed in the second part are: "concordia" ('concord'), "bene pubblico" vs. "bene privato" ('public good' vs. 'private good'), "equità" ('equity'), "utilità" ('utility').
