Abstract
This essay examines the relationship between Giuseppe Pontiggia and rhetoric which has an euristhic function in his works. For Pontiggia, argumentation cannot be used as an instrument of codification and verification; rather, he relies on the evaluation of stylistical efficiency and on the response of readers to the text based on their own experience
