Abstract
The essay focuses on the «poesie disperse» (various poems) by Giacomo Leopardi. These poems were never collected by the author himself in his poetic book, the Canti, or for various reasons were later excluded from the different forms the book went through and from the added meaning of its organic structure as a whole.
