Abstract

An analysis of the poem A un mascalzone, by Giorgio Orelli, from the collection Sinopie of 1977. The lyric is a short story in verse with a satirical back- ground. In a quite linear structure, Orelli uses a language of extraordinary expressive richness, which makes the text one of the most quoted poems by the Swiss Italian poet.
