Abstract
The article reconstructs the literary relationship between Italy and Spain in the early 20th century, in particular with the poets of the "Generación del 27" and the circulation of the "Antología" of Gerardo Diego in Italy. Moreover the essay examines the presence in Genoa (1924-26) of the writer Juan Chabás, illustrating his books "Puerto de sombra" and "Italia fascista". But, above all, the essay reflects about his interest in Italian culture and in the Art Theatre of Pirandello and Italo Svevo, whose work Chabás wants to translate into Spanish.
