Abstract
The essay analyzes the short stories that Luigi Pirandello composed in New York City in 1935. and reconstructs the influence of the American literature and culture on the last phase of Pirandello's narrative. This study attempts to clarify also the fundamental influence of the visual arts on Pirandello's literature.
