Abstract
The aim of this paper is twofold. At a research level, the aim is to explore the extent to which evidence-based findings of psycho-criminological and clinical research, in line with neuropsychology, biology, and behavioural genetics, can address the process of assessing the risk of future violence, and influence prevention and intervention. At an intervention level, the aim is to analyse how research findings could be applied within the forensic setting, and how this knowledge could become a valid and reliable source to guide expert testimony and assessment practice.
