Abstract

Aim of the work is to reflect upon the central role public spaces and third places have nowadays for young people as spaces of experience in a context of life marked by time-space compression and by a growing loss of significance of the private and labor spheres as spaces of sense and where finding a feeling of belonging. In this regard the work focuses on those practices and discourses of young people and social movements in the last two years of economic crisis addressed to create a shared space as precondition to can «aspire to the future» in the light of a widespread perception of lack of opportunities and, sometimes, of the future itself.
