Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe the evolution of the Italian ceramic tile industry. The Italian industry is reacting to the world competition increasing products' quality, improving the distribution network. In the Latest 15 years the industry has undergone a strong process of consolidation. The larger dimension of the top producers gave the opportunity to invest in production sites abroad.
