Abstract
In order to understand the main reasons behind the choices regarding the use of packaging by industrial companies, considering the new sustainable challenge and the recent changes in the consumer product selection, the present work analysed the current literature on the topic. Specifically, attention has been focused on two aspects: 1) the creation of value for industrial companies, and 2) the virtuous relationship between industrial companies and consumers.
