Abstract
The coming of the digital era has changed the legal landscape through the emergence of new goods and services, new business models, new actors, but new ways of infringement too, fostering a wide-ranging debate on how to develop vibrant online markets for goods and services protected by intellectual property rights. The last evidence comes from the broad protest against a presumed attempt against the freedom of speech on internet represented by the recent AGCOM regulation about copyright protection in electronic communications networks.
