Abstract
This paper deals with the reception of Weber's work in Italy during the last 50 years and focuses on the contributions that constitute its majority (namely of philosophers and sociologists). Their quantity shows, in general, quite an impressive reception. However, mostly Italian sociologists seem less interested in cultivating Weber's epistemological and methodological perspective, that is orientated towards a strong integration of history and sociology.
