Abstract
Within the neoliberal context, the concept of liberty has been facing intense modification. In the light of some considerations suggested by critical legal theories, the essay examines how the relationship among liberty and equality, vulnerability, inequality, violence, enslavement and emancipation has been changing, in order to detect the new articulations of contemporary liberty and the emerging neoliberal dynamics concerning domination and subjection.
