Abstract
The paper aims to reconstruct the opposition between some realist and anti-realist theses concerning truth and knowledge in the procedural field. The contrast between both positions, however, appears to be gradually waning both in Dummett’s progressive approach towards a position of “quasi-realismµ and in Ferrer’s passionate defense of an alethic realism that is neither dogmatic nor indifferent to the needs of epistemic practice.
