Abstract
Subsidiarity has become a kind of ideal type, an element of mediation between the unique character of the historical experience it emerged from and the need for synthesis and flexibility which pertain to legal sciences in the context of which it is employed. This essay therefore poses the question of what effects would derive from the elimination of subsidiarity from the constitutional system
