Abstract
In recent years, the relationships between constitutional justice and federalism in Canada have been subject to particular study based on the fact that the division of powers between Federation and Provinces, the supremacy of the Constitution, the presence of a constitutional jurisdiction and controls on constitutionality are the three essential elements which still influence the evolution of Canadian federalism. The essay explores both a number of issues concerning constitutional justice and its influence on federalism and, vice versa, how the powers exercised by the federal organs influence rulings by the Supreme Court.
